"Scream: The TV Series" On Its Way!

So it looks like further sequels to the "Scream" film franchise have been put on hold or might not ever happen, since the last installment was quite a wee bit of a box-office and critic failure. Music station turned TV show channel, MTV have confirmed that they have plans to relaunch the down hill franchise into a smash-hit TV series.
There's no word on if any of the cast (Neve Campbell, David Arquette or Coutrney Cox) or crew (Wes Craven or Kevin Williamson) will participate in the upcoming series. There isn't even news on if the show is set to be a complete TV reboot and have absolutely nothing to do with the 4 films. It's in very early development and news on any of this will probably be announced soon enough.
