"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" Gets "Star Trek" Writers To Do Rewrites!

"Star Trek" writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have both been hired to do rewrites on the planned 2014 sequel to this years "The Amazing Spider-Man". The sequel is set to begin filming sometime next year for it's confirmed May 2nd 2014 release date.
There's no news on what the sequels story will be about, but it's assumed that the sequels story will be much bigger than the first film. It'll most likely contain a hell of a lot of action and sci-fi content, considering the fact that Orci and Kurtzman have sc-fi/action backgrounds.
