Everybody is loving Jeremy Lin. New York can't get enough of their new savior. It seems everybody has caught Linsanity. Except, Floyd Mayweather. Floyd recently went to twitter and tweeted "Jeremy Lin is a good player, but all this hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he do every day, and don't get the same praise."
I agree with Floyd 100%. Except I believe its also because not only is he Asian, but he's a Harvard alum. An Asian Harvard alum who basically use to be a bum and now is carrying the Knicks by himself it seems. Black people and white people do what Lin does everyday, and how many Asians are in the league? Off the top of my head I can think of one and he's not in the league anymore. Yao Ming of course. How many players in the NBA are from Harvard, how many players even graduated college? Exactly, so, yes the world loves the unusual because it's interesting, give us all something to talk about. Which we are because Linsanity is in full effect, just how long will it last though?
