The great Joss Whedon, who's just been announced as the director of "The Avengers" has officially announced that actor Jeremy Renner has signed on to play the role of Hawkeye in the upcoming Marvel epic! WOOOOOHOOOOOO!
I have the link to the video of Joss Whedon confirming it. In this video, Whedon jokes about killing off Iron Man in a funny pre-title sequence and then added that he plans to kill Hawkeye.
